Following steps can be taken to improve farmers conditions by government:
1.Establishing cooperative banks to facilitate the needs of the rural poor.
2. Opening branches of banks in rural areas for facilitating loans at low rates of interest.
3. Developing various means of irrigation, so that more land could be brought under agriculture.
4. Government should fix a minimum purchase price for various crops every year.
5. Government should provide adequate diesel, electricity and water at highly subsidised rates.
