It is given that,

$P = ₹ 900$
$R = 4 %$
$T = 5 y e a r s$
We know that,

$S . I . = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}$
Substituting the values,

$= \frac{900 \times 4 \times 5}{100}$
$= ₹ 180$
It is given that

$S . I = ₹ 180$
$R = 5 %$
$T = 3 years$
We know that,

Sum $P = \frac{S I \times 100}{R \times T}$

Substituting the values,

$P = \frac{180 \times 100}{5 \times 3}$
