Solution

The correct option is B

3 months

B's investment =260003502×2020Rs.15000

E's investment =260003502×3771Rs.28000

A invested Rs.26000 for 12 months and earned Rs.6240.

Suppose B invested Rs.15000 for x months and earned Rs.2400.

26000×1215000×x=62402400x=240×26×12624×15=8 months

Let E invest Rs.28000 for y months and earn profit = Rs.2800.

So,26000×1228000×y=62402800y=280×26×12624×28=5 months

So, B has invested after 4 months and E after 7 months.
B invested 3 months after E invested.
