  1. Heredity is the genetic transfer process of passing the traits and characteristics from parents to offspring through genes.
  2. Children get their features and characteristics from both their parents by heredity.
  3. Sometimes diseases are also transferred through genes that are causing hereditary diseases.
  4. Cystic fibrosis and Sickle-cell anemia are examples of genetic disorders.
  5. The trait is one of the characteristics determined by one or more genes.
  6. Examples of inherited traits include blood group type, the color of eyes, Hair Color, hair type, Skin Color, height, muscle and bone structure, curly and straight hair, earlobe attachment, etc.
