Using distance formula,

d=x2x12+y2y12AB=(72)2+(3+2)2=(5)2+(5)2=25+25=50BC=(117)2+(13)2=(4)2+(4)2=16+16=42CD=(611)2+(6+1)2=(5)2+(5)2=25+25=50=52DA=(26)2+(2+6)2=(4)2+(4)2=16+16=32=42

Step 2: Let us determine the distance between the diagonals :

AC=(112)2+(1+2)2=(9)2+(1)2=81+1=82BD=(67)2+(63)2=(1)2+(9)2=1+81=82
