  3. The force can be divided into two types: Contact forces and Non-contact forces.

Contact Forces

  1. Contact forces are those, that require some visible interactions or contact between two bodies.
  2. Some examples of contact forces are spring force, drag force, frictional force, normal force, etc.

Non-contact Forces

  1. Non-contact forces are the forces that do not require any visible interactions or physical contact.
  2. Due to the non-contact forces, two objects can attract or repel each other even from distance.
  3. Some examples of the non-contact forces are Magnetic force, Electrical force, Gravitational force, Nuclear force, etc.
