Solution

Nutrition in amoeba is holozoic. Thus, solid food particles are ingested which are then acted upon by enzymes and digested. It is an omnivore, feeding on both plants and animals.
Amoebas eat algae, bacteria, plant cells, and microscopic protozoa and metazoa – some amoebas are parasites. They eat by surrounding tiny particles of foodwith pseudopods, forming a bubble-like food vacuole. The food vacuole digests the food.
