Notice that the first number on the second floor is the sum of the first two numbers on the first floor.

Use this rule to first find the number at the place of the apple and mango.


Since 5 + 10 = 15, it can be seen that the first number on the second floor is the sum of the first two numbers on the first floor.

Using this rule, we must have the sum of the two numbers on the second floor equal to the topmost number.
So, the sum of 15 and the number at the apple will be 40.
Therefore, to find it, we need to subtract 15 from 40.
Number at the apple = 40 - 15 = 25


Similarly, we need to subtract 10 from 25 to find the value of the number at the mango as the sum of that number and 10 equals 25.
i.e., Number at the mango = 25 - 10 = 15


Therefore, 25 comes at the place of apple and 15 comes at the place of mango.
