What was the argument put forward by Gandhiji in favour of Indian games?

Gandhiji argued that no doubt the British games such as cricket and football are interesting games but they are very expensive. Indian games also are exciting and Interesting like cricket and football but they are not at all expensive. Therefore, government should try to promote these games.
