Solution
Nationalists regarded the exisiting system of education as inadequate. Satish Chandra Mukherjee , the editor of the Dawn, created a scheme of National Education. There were about 25 secondary & 300 primary national schools established in Bengal in 1908. These schools imparted literary, technical & physical education. On August 15, 1906, a National Council of Education was set up. A National College with Aurobindo Ghose as Principal was opened in Kolkata.
