Solution

The correct option is C Pearl Harbour incident
Japan, Italy, and Germany were considered as axis power in the second world war. All these took part in the second world war with the wish of imperialism and to make themselves as a superpower of the world. Italy and Germany wanted to be powerful in Europe and Japan Wanted to be powerful in Asia. Till 1941 America did not take part in this war. Japan attacked the American naval base stationed at Pearl Harbour in Hawaii on Dec 7, 1941. This attack of Japan devastated the American Pacific fleet completely. After that negotiation was set up between Japan and America to settle disputes but Japan became adamant to conquer Asia and the Pacific. Due to this failed negotiation and great devastation of the American fleet, America decided to declare war with Japan. On 8 Dec. 1941 America declared war with Japan and with this second world war became a global war.
