Answer 79.(b) Statement 1, along with either 2 or 3 are necessary to answer the question.

1+2= CP=252-52=200

Marked Price = 280

Therefore percentage discount = 280-252/280 x 100=10%

1+3=CP=Rs. 200 and Marked price = 140/100 x200= Rs. 280

Therefore, percentage discount = 280-52/280 x 100=10%

Note that 2+3 does not gives the selling price, so we can’t find discount.
