Solution:
Mansabdars were those who held ranks during the Mughal rule. Military commanders, high civil officers and provincial governors belonged to the class of mansabdars. They carried out civil and administrative responsibilities for effective administration during the Mughal rule.
Mansabdars were given salaries either in the form of cash, or in the form of revenue assignments of land. These lands were called jagirs. Mansabdars who held these jagirs in lieu of their salaries were known as Jagirdars. They only had the rights of revenue collection.
The Jagirdari system was the division of land into small divisions and the person who was in charge of the land as well as the maintenance of the financial system was called jagirdars. The main responsibility of the jagirdars was to collect the fixed revenue and submit it to the central empire.
