The following simple ways can be used to make the environment and surroundings beautiful:

• 3 R's

1. Reduce: Reduce the use of the materials that pollute the environment and create unwanted wastes, such as plastics.
2. Reuse: Reuse the materials that can be reused to the maximum. this decreases the waste production and hence makes the environment cleaner. Example: reuse the old clothes.
3. Recycle: The materials that can be recycled such as plastics, paper, glass etc should be recycled.

• Reduce the use of private vehicles. When more number of people utilise the public transport, less number of vehicles are on the road and hence less air pollution.
• Reduce the use of chemicals and pesticides.
• Afforestation: Plant more trees and it will make the environment greener and pollution free.
• Practice the use of biodegradable goods over non biodegradable goods
• Grow your food locally. planting food locally helps reduce the pesticides and preservatives that are used to preserve them.
• avoid using wood stove. it generates excess amount of smoke and pollutes the environment.
• practice proper waste disposal methods
