Solution:
Buddhism was a new religion founded by Gautama Buddha. It was a religion which was suitable for the agrarian society of 6th Century BC.
Buddhism made several contributions to Indian culture.​ The Sanghas which were the administrative council of Buddhism established along democratic lines to help spread Buddhism in various regions. The Sangas helped in spreading democratic values in society.​ Moreover, numerous caves, chaityas, viharas and pillars were built, which vastly contributed to the field of art and architecture.
Jainism was founded by Vardhamana Mahavira. It radicalised Indian society. ​It taught the people the importance of the right belief, right knowledge and right action.​ It contributed to Indian architecture by building stone pillars, caves, temples and statues.
