Solution

The correct options are
A
B
Thomson’s model could successfully explain the electrical neutrality of atom. However, it failed to explain how the positively charged sphere is shielded from the negatively charged electrons without getting neutralised. Apart from electrons and protons, an atom contains a neutral particle called the neutron. According to Thomson's Atomic Model, the mass of an atom was uniformly distributed throughout the atom but later on, it was observed that mass of the atom is concentrated in the nucleus of the atom i.e., the centre of the atom.
