Solution: The people of Telangana felt that the development is uneven. The real benefits were goint to the other regions of the state.
The total number of colleges in Andhra Pradesh region were 159 and Telangana only had 116 colleges including the one’s that were located in Hyderabad. Moreover the grant for college education was only 93 crore in Telangana.
The youth felt that most of the new employment opportunities created in the state were taken over by the poeple of other regions.
The poor farmers faced a steep increase in the prices of fertilisers, pesticides, etc. They also faced huge competition from cheap imported agricultural products.
The traditional services of cloth washers and nomadic communities felt the pressure of declining demand for their services. Eventually, it led to a loss of their livelihood.
