What were the methods used by the the peasants of awadh to expand the movement?

The peasant movement in Awadh was organised under the leadership of Baba Ramchandra.This movement used the following methods to achieve their goal:

1. They raised demands for reduction of revenue, abolition of begar and social boycott of oppressive landlords.
2.In protest of achieving their demands, ‘nai – dhobi bandhs’ were organized by panchayats in many places.It deprived landlords of the services of even barbers and washer men.
3.In 1920, the Oudh Kisan Sabha was organised by Nehru, Baba Ramchandra and his followers.Through this, they tried to put pressure on the British Government to mitigate their grievances.
