Consequences of Battle of Buxar :
1. Mir Jafar was brought back as the Nawab of Bengal.
2. The Mughal Emperor became the pensioner of the British.
3 The Mughal Emperor granted the jagir of the Northern circars to the British.
4. As a settlement with Nawab of Bengal, EEIC got the right of diwani or right to collect revenue in the province of Bengal, Bihar & Odisha.
