If we talk about the Anglo Maratha wars they were as :
In the first anglo maratha war, led to the victory of the British , resulting in the sign of treaty of Wadgaon, in which British and to part with their territories.
In the Second anglo war as per the treaties, British got back their lost territories.
The third war led to decisive victory of the British.This led British to control the region, to meddle in the internal affairs of the region and rulers etc.
