Solution: Kabirdas was a famous saint of the Bhakthi cult, and was a disciple of Ramanand. He tried to bring harmony between the Hindu and the Muslim communities.

Some of his teachings are as follows:
  • He condemned the caste system, luxurious life, and discrimination based on religion.
  • He stated that Allah and Rama are the two names of the same God.
  • He believed that it is not possible to see God by fasting, torturing the body or going on a sacred pilgrimage. He said it is possible only through sacred devotion.
