Area of a circle =πr2

55.00=227r2

5500100×22=227×22r2

250×7100=r2

2×5×5×5×710×10=r2

2.5×7=r2

17.5=r2

r=4.18 cm

Therefore, the diameter will be 2r which is equal to 2×4.18=8.36 cm.
