The inductive reactance $X_{L} = ω L = 2 π v L$ will increase with the increase of frequency $v$ while the capacitive reactance $X_{C} = \frac{1}{ω C} = \frac{1}{2 π v C}$ will decrease with the increase of frequency $v$ .
