Equation of the chord whose middle point is given

T=s1

According to the question s1=25x2116y21400=0

(x1,y1)(5,3)

S1=25×(5)216(3)2400

=625144400=81

and T=25xx116yy1400

T=25x(5)16y(3)400

T=125x48y400

so,the equation of the required chord is

125x48y400=81

or

125x48y=481
