The concentration of chloroform=15 ppm
10^6 g of solution contains 15 g chloroform

Thus, 1000g of solution contains 15106×1000=15×103g chloroform

Molality=number of moles of solutemass of solvent(kg)

and number of moles = massmolar mass

For chloroform, CHCl3
mass=15×103g,
molar mass=12+1+3×35.5=119.5g/mol

Weight of water = 1000g = 1 kg

Molality = 15×103119.5×1=1.25×104 m

Thus, option A is correct.
