For carbon, the number of atoms on reactant and product side will be 2d = f

Similarly for hydrogen, it will be 6d = 2g or 3d =g

Similarly for oxygen it will be 2e = 2f + g

So we put d=1 in 2d =f and we will get f = 2, and after putting d=1 in 3d = g we will get g=3 and putting the value of g and f in 2e = 2f + g we will get e= 72

C2H6 + 72O2 2CO2 + 3H2O
