Question

What will called the metal with both the properties of metals and non-metals?

Open in App
Solution

They are called metalloids or semi metals.

A few elements are more difficult to classify. For example, they might conduct electricity better than a non-metal but not as well as a metal, so they are called semiconductors. They may be shiny, like a metal, but brittle, like a non-metal. We call these elements metalloids or (semi-metals).
