Solution
Centrifugation: It is a separation technique in which a centrifuge machine is used to separate liquid solutions with different densities or solids from a liquid.
For example, to separate cream from milk it is centrifuged.
When the colloidal solution of sulphur is centrifuged in a centrifugal machine, sulphur being heavier settles at the bottom, and the dispersing medium being lighter in which sulphur was dissolved floats at the top.
