Solution

The correct option is A Acidic chyme will not be neutralized
Bile is alkaline, apart from emulsification of fats it also has the function of neutralising chyme (semi-liquid form of food as a result of the action of gastric juice in the stomach). So, if the bile duct is blocked acidic chyme will not get neutralised. If the bile ducts get blocked then fats will not get emulsified and will remain undigested and are instead excreted in faeces, a condition called steatorrhea. In this case, feces lack their characteristic brown colour and instead are white or grey, and greasy. The digestion of carbohydrate will not get affected due to the absence of bile.
So, the correct answer is option A.
