Question

What will happen if the fallopian tubes in a female are blocked?

Open in App
Solution

  • If the Fallopian tube gets blocked the egg doesn't reach the Fallopian tube for fertilization after being released from the ovary.
  • The sperm cannot encounter the egg preventing fertilization.
So, with no fertilization, pregnancy doesn't take place.
