$\Rightarrow$ Volume $\left(V\right)$ of the cube will be $a^3$

When edge is trebled, then Edge $=3a$

$\therefore$ New volume $\left(V_1\right)=(3a{)}^3$
$=27a^3$
$=27\times V$

Hence, if the edge of the cube is trebled, then the volume becomes $27$ times.
