Angle of incident and the angle of refraction are the angles which the incident ray and the refracted ray make with the normal.
Angle of incidence = 9030=60
Angle of refraction = 9045=45
So, i=60 and r=45
By Snell's law
sin i μ1=sin r μ2
or sin 60×1=sin 45×μ2 [ Refractive index of air is taken as 1]
or, μ2=sin 60sin 45=3212=32
