What would happen if the eye lens of a human eye was made of concave and not convex?
even if the rays diverged we could see the apparent position of the image from extended rays..

If the eye lens of a human eye was made of concave lens instead of convex lens then the image formed by the eye lens will be not real they will be virtual so they can not be formed on the retina of eye and there will be no transmission of the signals from the nerve and so image will be formed so we will not be able to see the image at all and as you have asked the ray diverges so the image will form in front of the eyes not on the retina so no objects will be visible to eye.
