What would happen if the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere would totally disappear?

The main gases responsible for green house effect are C02, CH4, water vapours, nitrous oxide, CFCs and ozone.These gases trap the sun’s heat near the earth’s surface and keep it warm. This makes the earth perfect for life.
In the absence of green house gases, the average temperature of the earth will decrease drastically. As a result life on earth would be impossible.
