CH3CH2CH2OH + NH3 heat CH3CH2CH2NH​2 + H2O
propylamine

The propylamine formed can further react with propanol to give dipropylamine

CH3CH2CH2OH + CH3CH2CH2NH​2 heat (CH3CH2CH2)2NH​2 + H2O
dipropylamine

Dipropylamine can further react to give tripropylamine

CH3CH2CH2OH + (CH3CH2CH2)2NH​2 heat (CH3CH2CH2)3NH​2 + H2O
tripropylamine​
