Whatever be the lifespan, the death of every individual organism is a certainty, i.e., no individual is immortal, except single-celled organisms. Explain.

Multicellular organisms like humans reproduce sexually. In the cycle of reproduction when a human dies, his whole body gets wasted, flesh, blood, bones etc get decayed, none of these go to the next generation. Therefore we say a person died.

Most of the single cell organism divide into two new single-cell organisms. In this cycle of reproduction, there is no dead body, each and every part is converted into new organisms.

An example of a unicellular organism is an amoeba.
