There is a very small difference between science and technology and that's why generally people considered them to be the same things. The following are the differences between science and technology:

i. Science: It is the continuous process of learning new things through experiments. It focuses more on discovery and knowing something.

ii. Technology: It is the process of applying scientific knowledge for various purposes. It focuses more on invention and doing something.
