Temperature is an intensive property that is independent of the amount of substance.
Not convinced?
If x J of heat is released when 50 cc of acid and base react, then 5x J would be released when 250 cc of the same acid and base react, right?
Also the amount of the solution has also become 5 times!
You know that q=mCΔT
Since q and m increase by the same ratio, ΔT is the same!
