The correct option is D 22.5 g
The balanced chemical equation for the reaction is given by,

H2+12O2H2O

From the above equation, 16 g oxygen will react with 2 g hydrogen

Hence, 20 g oxygen will react with 28×20=2.5 g hydrogen

Since the amount of hydrogen present is 8 g, oxygen is the limiting reagent and hence it will decide the quantity of product
16 g oxygen yields 18 g water

20 g oxygen will yield 1816×20=22.5 g water

Hence, option C is the correct answer.
