Solution

The correct option is A Rises, if $$p_{l}>p_{w}$$
When ice melts  to water ,it will add up volume with the liquid. 
If $$Pl < Pw$$, water will settle at bottom of container.
$$Pl = Pw$$, both settle at same level. 
$$Pl > Pw$$, water stays at top of liquid. 
but in all cases, the level of (liquid+water) system rises.
