when a body is tied to one end of a string is rotated uniformly in a circle ? work done / work not done

Dear Student ,

If the force and displacement is perpendicular to each other then no work is said to be done. This is because there is no component of force along the direction of the displacement and the force is not responsible to cause any kind of displacement whatsoever.Then work is not done .
