When a bunch of feathers and a stone of the same mass are allowed to fall in the air, the stone falls faster than the bunch of feathers. The reason is that upthrust due to air on the stone is less than that on the bunch of feathers because the volume of the stone is less than that of the bunch of feathers with the same mass. More the volume more will be the air drag on the feathers and hence, it will take more time than the stone to strike the ground.
