By using equation

(for n rotations, θ=2nπ)
(ω02)2=ω202α(2nπ)
α=34ω204π×36..(i)
(given n=36)
Now let fan complete total n revolutions from the starting to the time it comes to rest
0=ω202α(2πn)n=ω204απ
Substituting the value of α from equation (i)
n=ω204π4×4π×363ω20=48 revolutions
Therefore, number of rotation it'll make =4836=12
