When a cell is short circuited then terminal potential difference is zero.What does it mean?

Dear Student
when any cell is short circuited it means the wire which is connecting positive terminal of cell is also connected with negative terminal of cells which means its +ve and -ve terminals both are at same potential there is no potential difference .
hence in this situation no current will flow and we called it short circuited.
