Solution

Dear student,
Before reproduction, DNA is replicated. DNA Replication has unique significance in the living world. The replicated DNA ensures that similar amount and type of DNA is transferred from the parent to the daughter cell. It maintains the amount and type of DNA in a living organism of a particular species.
During the process of reproduction, transmission of DNA from parents to offspring takes place.
