When a clock shows 4o'clock . How much angle do its minute and hour needles make?
The total of a clock’s angles is 360 degrees.
If we divide that by 12 (to find the degree for every hour), we get:
360/12 = 30
Now, if we multiply that by 4 (to find the angle at 4 o’clock), we get the answer which is:
30 * 4 = 120
We can also do that in another way, since 4 o’clock represents 1/3 of a clock’s angles:
360 * 1/3 = 120
