When a concave mirror is used as a shaving mirror, where is the person’s face in relation to the focus of the mirror?
Between pole and focus
When a concave mirror is held near the face (such that face is in between the pole and the focus of the mirror), it gives an upright and magnified image. For this, a concave mirror of large focal length is used so that the face always lies between its focus and the pole and large aperture so as to view the entire face.
