When a figure is said to have a line symmetry?
We can fold a picture in half such that the right and left halves match exactly
The two halves are mirror images of each other
A figure is said to have a line of symmetry or linear symmetry if there exists a line which divides the figure into two identical halves such that they coincide when folded along this line. There can be one or more lines of symmetry for a given figure.
