Solution

Based on the symmetry, flowers are of two types, actinomorphic and zygomorphic. Actinomorphic flowers are those which give equal halves when cut through any plane. They show radial symmetry. e.g. Mustard.
Zygomorphic flowers are those which give equal halves across only one plane. They show bilateral symmetry. e.g. Pea flower, orchid, etc.
