When a glass of ice-cold water is taken in a glass, water drops are formed on the outer surface of the glass. Give a reason.
Step-I
When a glass of ice-cold water is taken in a glass then water drops are formed on the outer surface of the glass due to the phenomenon that is condensation.
Step-II. Reason why it is happening:-
(i) This is because when we pour the cold water into the glass then the warm air hits the cold surface of the glass.
(ii) After this, the water molecules are condensed from the air and form droplets of the water on the glass.
